Lohagarh Organic Farm is the vision of Kamal Meena and Birma Devi, a husband-wife team who chose to trade blueprints for soil, concrete for crops, and conventional success for something far more meaningful—reviving the health of our land and our people.
Kamal, a civil engineer by training, witnessed firsthand how modern lifestyles were disconnecting us from nature and our food. The turning point came when he realized that the solution wasn’t in building more, but in growing better. In 2015, he returned to his roots in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, with a mission: to prove that farming can be both profitable and sustainable, and that farmers can live with dignity while nurturing the earth.
“In villages, people live in one house, but in cities, people live in a multi-layer, flat system. In this way, we have devised a system of growing 3-4 crops, in different ways, on the same plot.”

- Jeev Amrit system – A 10,000-liter organic manure processing unit that enriches soil naturally using cow dung, urine, jaggery, and gram flour
- Agrivoltaics – Dual-use land for solar energy and crop production
- Traditional Seed Preservation – Keeping heritage wheat varieties alive for future generations
- Cold-press processing – Maintaining nutrients in our oils and flours using slow, traditional methods
